   General legal counsel for Mail Boxes, Etc., Debra Abate says there is absolutely no association between the two firms and has formally requested that PayDay ceased using the Mail Boxes name in their advertisements. She did comment, however, that independent Mail Boxes franchise owners may have entered into individual discussions with PayDay, but as such, is not recognized by the corporate office. The PayDay letter to investors includes a public offering, promising investors an annual dividend of 12 percent and after changeover to common stock during the fifth year, an annual return of 40.64 percent to 63.35 percent.(www.uniontrib.com) (TOP)
