   Hired in January of 2000, Amanda heads up the Kickers' sales and marketing program. Her duties include the planning and managing of all sales and marketing efforts for the club in order to generate increased ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, and sales of merchandise. With the addition of our new youth club, Amanda's duties have expanded to include grant writing and funding requests to various community organizations and foundations.
   
   Prior to accepting the position with the Kickers, Amanda was a Development Associate for the Children's Museum of Richmond. Her responsibilities included seeking sponsorships for programs, exhibits and special events, as well as directing activities associated with the Annual Fund.
   
   After graduating from the University of Richmond in May 1997 with a BA in Sport Science, Amanda took a Development Associate position with the Salvation Army. During her stay there her duties included planning and marketing events and programs to various community organizations.
   
   Amanda's hobbies include engaging in outdoor activities, such as running and rowing, reading books, and chilling with animals. While at the University of Richmond, Amanda was involved in the Richmond Rowing Club as a rower and an assistant coach.
