Ciara Marie Abalos

E.Coli bacteria was found to have caused the death of Ciara Marie Abalos, daughter of Mandaluyong Rep.Benhur Abalos.

Described by relatives as fun-loving, courageous, and determined, Ciara was an incoming senior Philosophy student at the De La Salle University.Her twin sister Charisse told GMA that Ciara wanted to become a leader, reporter, lawyer and a teacher.

Abalos was suffering from diarrhea and high fever and she was brought to Cardinal Santos Memorial Medical Center.She was supposed to go to the United States last Wednesday with her grandparents, but the airport medical attendants did not allow her to board the plane.

Her remains lie at the Abalos residents in Kanlaon St., in Mandaluyong City.She will be buried on Wednesday at the Aglipayan Cemetery in Mandaluyong.
