   As the Principal-in-Charge of the New York office of Bovis Lend Lease, James Abadie oversees all aspects of the business, which includes executive direction of all construction operations and growth strategies.
   
   Mr. Abadie joined New York-based Bovis Lend Lease in 1980 and has held numerous supervisory positions throughout his career.Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and General Superintendent of the New York office where his expertise was utilized for the development of complex logistics, field management and the administration of effective field labor relations programs on the firm's most unique and challenging assignments.
   
   No challenge, however, was greater than what Mr. Abadie faced in the days, weeks and months following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.Putting his personal life on hold, he made his way downtown and played an instrumental role in transforming the chaos of Ground Zero into an orderly work site.Eventually, his willingness to make hard decisions contributed to his emergence as the point man for the entire operation.
   
   In addition to his responsibilities at Bovis Lend Lease, Mr. Abadie serves as Treasurer of the Contractors' Association of Greater New York "CAGNY") having held the positions of Chairman and President in recent years.He also serves as Chairman of the Building Trades Employers' Association (BTEA).
