Ms. Abad joined our Company in 2005.

Ms. Abad has more than 15 years of senior financial management experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.Prior to joining Biosensors, Ms. Abad acted as interim Chief Financial Officer at the U.S. Generics Division of Alpharma, Inc., and served as the Vice President of Finance in Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. where she had responsibility for all financial, accounting and treasury functions and strategic planning.Prior to her experience at Watson, Ms. Abad led the accounting function for a US$200 million division of a multinational manufacturer of ocular medical devices.

Ms. Abad received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the College of the Holy Spirit, Philippines and holds a Masters of Business Administration from St. John's University, New York.

Ms. Chato Abad, Chief Financial Officer said: "In our industry, we need to aggressively invest in R&D activities including clinical studies and intellectual property rights to be able to introduce new and differentiated products and defend our IP when needed.

As such, when we begin our LEADERS and STEALTH II clinical trials, we will expect related expenses to increase, all of which are in line with our expense guidance provided recently", said Ms. Chato Abad, Chief Financial Officer.

Lee, New Jersey.ALPHARMA's core business segments include an active pharmaceutical ingredients business, a growing branded products business and an internationally recognized animal health business focused on products that enhance food quality and safety for humans.Ms. Abad played an instrumental role in the acquisition of ALPHARMA's human generics business by the Actavis Group.

Prior to her role with ALPHARMA, Ms. Abad was the Vice President, Finance for Watson Pharmaceuticals in California.Ms. Abad began her career at Watson in 1987 as Controller and was promoted to Vice President in 1995.

KCI conducted a global executive search for Biosensors International within the healthcare products manufacturing and services segments of the Life Sciences industry.Through a process of recruiting and evaluation, Ms. Abad was placed as the newest executive at Biosensors in competition with several other global candidates.

Biosensors International Group, Ltd. today announced that its Chief Financial Officer Ms. Chato Abad is leaving the Company to pursue other professional interests.
