Adam Aasen is an Assistant Vice President with Buchanan Street Partners - Principal Investments and is responsible for the sourcing and underwriting of new equity investments for the Buchanan Funds.Prior to graduate school, Mr. Aasen was a Senior Associate with Buchanan Street's Debt & Structured Finance Division where he directly structured and placed debt and equity solutions in excess of $800 million.His background also includes experience in investment brokerage, where he was directly involved in the acquisition and disposition of over $200 million in commercial real estate.Mr. Aasen is a CCIM candidate and holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and a master's in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. aaasen@buchananstreet.com

Prior to Highland, Aasen was an AVP with Buchanan Street Partners' private equity funds where he was responsible for the sourcing and underwriting of new equity investments.Prior to graduate school, Aasen worked within Buchanan Street's advisory division where he structured debt and equity solutions in excess of $800 million.His background also includes experience in investment brokerage. Aasen received a Master's in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brigham Young University.Aasen is the co-chair of the Columbia Alumni Association of the Built Environment.
