The petition is now on its way to Munich for the AGM of the Interline club where it will be presented by John Aarons.Our petition, consisting of about 1200 plus forms will be added to 1000 from Europe.

However, we teamed up with John Aarons ,Vice President, Special Projects of the World Airline Clubs Association (WACA) and together tried to find a way through recognition by IATA.At last year's General Meeting of WACA, IATA was called upon to look at the issue of employees of failed airlines and discounted travel.In this endeavour, John Aarons, on behalf of ex Ansett staff, got together with the people from Swissair, who were in the same predicament, and gave notice to IATA that we wished this problem to be considered.
In the last year nothing has been forth coming from IATA.This is not a bad thing as the wheels of IATA grind slowly and have been known to reverse at some times.This year again, John Aarons and Swissair, will put a resolution forward to IATA and really push for an answer.
