    Roy H. Aaron is Vice Chairman of Janas Associates and Janas Consulting. He has more than 40 years of experience as a practicing lawyer, a senior executive of several entertainment companies, and a deal maker.     Roy served in senior executive positions, including President and COO of The Plitt Theater Companies, the third largest national theater chain. Plitt acquired and operated all theater divisions of American Broadcasting Co. until its sale to Cineplex Odeon of Canada.

    As President and Chief Executive Officer of Showscan Entertainment, Inc., Roy directed the development of its patented "Showscan" film process and added to its unique film library. He also managed, built and marketed the first motion-based simulators for entertainment purposes and completed two successful public common stock offerings.

    Roy served as Chairman and CEO of Intra-Asia Entertainment Corporation, a company with amusement park holdings in China.

    For the last decade, Roy has served as a business consultant to a variety of client companies. His work included strategic planning for operations and expansion of client companies in preparation for sale.

    Roy served as a member of the Board of Directors of several companies including King-Reavis Amusement Company, a subsidiary of United Artist Theater Circuit Inc., Legal Research Network, Inc. and iMatte, Inc.

    Roy is a member and past President of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and a life fellow of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation and The American Bar Foundation.

    Roy is a member of the Board of the UCLA Foundation and other UCLA Boards, Hammer Museum, and Dispute Resolution Services, Inc. He is a recipient of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Shattuck-Price Award. Roy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California and a law degree from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of Order of the Coif.
