Heath Aaron was a traveler, a scholar, a gentleman, a leader, a teacher, an artist and an intellectual. Where others saw obstacles, he saw opportunities. He embraced life and celebrated the good in others. He was sensitive, thoughtful, self-assured, captivating and a planter of seeds. We will never forget his courage, patriotism and his loving spirit. His infectious smile and charismatic personality assured him, "a new friend was a moment away."
Heath graduated from Turlock High School in 1993 and attended Sonoma State University. He recieved an AA from Modesto Junior College, a BS in Cognitive Studies from California State University, Stanislaus and an MBA from the University of Hawaii JAIMS program with a concentration in International Business Management, Heath was an EMT, a phlebotomist, and an instructor for CSUS. He taught English in China, traveled to many foreign countries and spoke three languages.
He is survived by his parents, Glenda Catanzarite of Turlock, Daniel Barlow of Susanville, Pat Catanzarite of Oakdale; his brother, Shawn Barlow of Turlock; his grandparents, Martha and Faryl Holden of Stockton, Ben Morris of Roseburg, OR; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones. Private services will be held at Berkeley Batist Church in Turlock.
An Irish celebration of Heath's life is scheduled for November. All who knew Heath are welcome to this event and encouraged to send stories, photos, memories or messages to: rememberingheath@yahoo.com.
