Mr. Aaron completed the requirements to become a Certified Functional Manual Therapist with The Institute of Physical Art in 2004. In addition, he has achieved recognition as a Fellow in the Amnerican Academy of Manual Physical Therapists. His professional career has included four years as a member of the academic faculty of the Physical Therapy Program at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was also a guest lecturer in the College of Dental Medicine. Currently, he works as Clinical Director at HEALTHSOUTH Spine Center of Houston. In addition he has served as National Director of Spine Education with HEALTHSOUTH Corporation since 1991, where he is involved in program development, clinical training, residency programs and patient management. He began working as a Functional Orthopedics Instructor with the Institute of Physical Art in 1985, and continues as a Primary Instructor and FO I Trainer. In addition to extensive clinical and continuing education experience, Mr. Aaron has the following publications: "Current Trends in the Rehabilitation of the Lumbar Spine in the Athlete: Dynamic Stabilization". Sports Medicine Section, APTA. Home Study Course. July, 1996 and was a co-author in Muscle Pain Due to Injury. Current Pain and Headache Reports. 2001, 5:441-446. Mr. Aaron also serves as a special consultant for a number of professional athletic teams and has worked with a number of PGA and LPGA Tour Players during his professional career. Mr. Aaron teaches continuing educatin courses throughout the country and serves as an adjunct faculty member for Touro College of Health Sciences, Bay Shore, NY. -
