George R. Aaron, 92, Tucson, Ariz., and formerly of Venice, died April 11, 2002, after hip surgery.
He was born June 8, 1909, in Lansing, Mich., and was a resident of Venice from 1970 to 2001, when he moved to Tucson. He was a draftsman for Oldsmobile for 30 years before retiring. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Venice, a founding member of Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood and a life member of Elks.
Survivors include sons Thomas of Tucson and Russell of Okemos, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Trinity Presbyterian Memorial Garden. Heather Mortuary, Tucson, is in charge.
