When the founder of Noble House Jewelry, Zoe Herrington opened her first jewelry store in Kansas City in 1987, it was with the vision that high-quality jewelry could be made accessible and affordable for everyone.
Zoe began her rise in the jewelry business as a part-time passion. It all started in a small office; she started working by appointment only. This allowed for a personal one-on-one rapport with prospective customers, which is now a hallmark for each of her locations.
Zoe, who truly believes that fine jewelry should be accessible to everyone, offers her customers a wide array of quality merchandise that she is able to sell at prices far below her competitors.Because of her ability to explore the (WORLD) marketplace looking for that one-of-a-kind unique piece of exceptional quality and price, thereby allowing her to pass the savings on to her customers.Zoe can offer savings to her customers on the same quality jewelry that customers might find greatly marked up at other retail stores.
Since Zoe does all the buying for Noble House Jewelry herself and shops often, customers will find an incredible selection at amazing prices. The merchandise at her stores moves so quickly, customers are guaranteed not only to get the highest quality jewelry at the best price, they can be assured they are getting the latest fashions, not tired trends that have been sitting in cases for months.

Security cameras will be installed at the Rosana Square Shopping Center in Overland Park in the wake of daylight robberies of businesses there.

Noble House Jewelry was robbed on Monday and Cookies by Design was robbed by a man with a handgun on March 8.

Noble House owner Zoe Herrington said Rosana square, at 119th Street and Metcalf Avenue, does not have surveillance cameras despite being a high-traffic area and vulnerable to crime. She said she has asked the landlord repeatedly for more security.

“They are well aware that this problem exists,” Herrington said.

Rosana Square landlord Tony Privitera said Wednesday there had not been a crime problem at the shopping area over the past 20 years but that he now plans to install a security system. He said he had begun making preparations before the latest robbery.

“I would say there’s a problem in the Overland Park area as a whole,” he said. “So, it’s just time.”

Overland Park police said a man entered Noble House Jewelry, 11620 Metcalf Ave., about 12:20 p.m. Monday and asked to see engagement rings. When an employee placed a ring, valued at more than $1,000, on the counter the man grabbed it and ran. He was described as black, 30-40 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and bald. He was wearing a white T-shirt and long dark shorts. He left in a silver or gray truck with a flat cover on the bed and was last seen eastbound on 115th Street.

A security camera inside the jewelry store captured images of the man.
