News from Dr. Bungu
continues to wear many "Hats" while in service at Mashoko
, often wearing several at the same time!
While being husband and father, he also is the Administrator for Mashoko Christian Hospital and Chief Medical Doctor and Surgeon.
This requires much of his
time and energy, not only tending to medical issues, but also dealing with personnel, finances, budgets, procurement and more.
He takes the time to teach surgery techniques to the new doctors at Mashoko, Chidamoyo and other As He Is sponsored hospitals and clinics to help improve their skills and improve the level of care available.
Dr. B continues to oversee the completion of the School of Nursing building project and the revival of the Dental Clinic.
He also serves as a leader in the Mashoko congregation often preaching or leading on Sunday mornings.
Dr. Bungu serves on various boards to encourage and support Christian ministries throughout Zimbabwe, including planning and implementation of various conventions and gatherings.
In addition, he coordinates and serves as host for the annual Soccer Tournament outreach for the region.
is regularly seen playing at the Soccer fields after his
is faithfully accountable in all he
does and spends.
is our servant and representative "on the ground", as he
says, in Zimbabwe.
hese duties are listed as a reminder of all he
is doing- to God'sGlory- to build and support the As He
Is and Mashoko ministries.
is deserving of and in need of our encouragement, daily prayers and continued support.
Please pray for God's provision for Dr. Bungu
and Dinah as they continue in their ministries.
In October, Dr. Bungu
is hosting the annual soccer tournament for the region.
has 10 teams of young adult and adult males traveling to the Mashoko campus for a weekend tournament.

**Note: Funds have been available to assist in these salaries and provisions, but the funds are rapidly being depleted due to continued and growing need.
Since March of 2009, Dr Bungu
has needed at least an additional $1500. each month beyond the set budget to provide basic food and needs for his
hospital staff .Please prayerfully consider an additional gift to supplement salaries and food needs.
Mid-year 2009, Dr. Bungu
has had to propose a new budget because of the instability of the ZIM government.
The ZIM currency was rendered useless.
Subsequently, they have commited to a higher level of partnership with Dr. Bungu
