Yvette Burgess, Director of the Housing Support Enabling Unit since 2004, will be leading on the registration and regulation work. With housing support/care at home workforces next to be registered and the voluntary sector workforce disproportionately comprised of workers in these two parts of the register, we are delighted to have the Housing Support Enabling Unit taking forward this work. With an excellent understanding of this part of the workforce and well developed networks with employers, Yvette and her staff will be guiding and supporting voluntary sector employers to comply with SSSC and Care Inspectorate requirements, make use of workforce planning tools and enabling them to influence policy and practice developments in these areas.
