Yasmin delivers optimal strategic and sustainable value that hits the ground working to advance your opportunities for greater success.
She applies her communication and organization design and development expertise to identifying and developing opportunities that drive desired outcomes. During two decades of client and consulting side experience, she has managed teams and built high performance organizations, campaigns, solutions and products within and for large corporations, entrepreneurial companies and private investors-resulting in significant revenue growth and value creation.
She is recognized as an out-of-the-box strategist who "combines creativity and business discipline to develop and deploy actionable blueprints and solutions that hit the ground working and that produce breakthrough results".
Recent work with mining giant Vale validates her skill at developing energy and communications strategies, and commitment to sustainability through the co-creation of the Vale Energy Innovation Fund and the Energy Exchange.
"The reset button has been pushed" says Yasmin, "Traditional business models and static ways of thinking rarely move the dial closer to the winner's finish line. Building profitable and sustainable value in today's environment requires stepping 3-5 years into the future to assess what's needed to be a market relevant leader, and building action plans and tools for getting there-starting now."
She has a BA (psych) from McMaster University; plus, post-graduate studies and certificates in Organization & Leadership Development, Facilitation, Strategic planning and Communication. She has been published in Building Strategies and Sustainability, caMagazine, Ivey Business, Corporate Knights, among others, and speaks at industry conferences, universities and corporate events. Parallel to CTR, Yasmin is the President and CEO of Rethink Sustainability Initiatives (RSI) in a volunteer capacity, founded in 2011, to provide a dynamic hub for senior business leaders and sustainability experts.
