Will the Equality Authority be condemned in a few years time and all its staff forced to resign when the next scandal of the abuse of young boys comes to light in a situation where they prevented them from being protected.

I am afraid that we will just have to disagree about your assessment of both Fr. Gruner and the apparitions of Fatima (I am very devoted to the latter and consider my visit to Fatima a few years ago as one of the greatest experiences of my life), but you are quite right in your assessment of Fr. Willy Slavin and 'Open House'. Mutatis mutandis, 'Open House' is to Scotland what 'The Tablet' is to England, i.e. an ongoing example of the 'coudn't care less' attitude of the bishops to sustaining authentic Catholic teaching. And I am afraid that the defence of 'O, he's old' or 'So what, he's retired' is not going to wash. This priest and the magazine he edits continue to give an unauthentic account of Roman Catholicism. Father, if you are referring to Fr Slavin, I'm afraid he is not retired. He is PP of two parishes in Glasgow and chaplain to the Sick Children's hospital. Will he Consecrate Russian to the Immaculate Heart of Mary? Will he now talk about the 3rd secret?

My all time NON favourite is the post-Communion "He comes to me, in sharing bread and wine" with the Magnificat swung to the tune "Will ye go, lassie, go" a close second. Will Christians, the BBC asks, swing the UK vote?
