Dr. William A. Olivos, owner and founder of Advanced Eye Care Center, earned his degree at the Illinois College of Optometry and completed his internship at the Illinois Eye Institute. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, (AOA), the Treasure Coast Optometric Society and the Low Vision Section of the AOA. He is also a member of the Rotary Club International in Okeechobee, Florida and the St. Lucie County and Okeechobee Chambers of Commerce. Dr. Olivos also plays a key role in organizing and participating in yearly optometry mission trips to Peru, his homeland, where he, along with his family and the mission team, provide eye exams, eye glasses, eye drops, and small toys to the impoverished populations of Lima and its surrounding areas.
