William Guertin is a board member of The Physicians Foundation and executive vice president of the Alameda-Contra Costa Medical Association (ACCMA) in California.
He has held executive positions at the ACCMA for 39 years, and has over 40 years of experience in professional liability insurance management and medical association administration.
Mr. Guertin currently serves as chair of the board of directors of the Medical Underwriters of California and is a past president of the American Association of Medical Society Executives (AAMSE).
Previously, Mr. Guertin
has been affiliated with the American Medical Association, the American Red Cross Blood Bank, the California Medical Association
and various other healthcare related organizations in executive and committee member capacities.
is the recipient of numerous civic and professional awards, including Alameda County Board of Supervisors
and California Senate
awards for contributions to improving healthcare.
