Bill served as an Electronic Warfare Officer flying the Boeing B-52 aircraft in the active duty United States Air Force and as a Navigator on the Lockheed Martin C-130 aircraft in the U. S. Air Force Reserves.

Bill's involvement in public service continues today.
He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Julie Billiart School, a wonderful school specializing in teaching children with learning challenges.
He is also a Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts of America and enjoys coaching children in basketball and cross-country.
He has served on numerous boards and committees of church and civic organizations.
Bill is truly honored to be a member of the Young Presidents/World Presidents Organization, a worldwide group of Presidents/CEOs committed to helping all members reach their "full potential as presidents and citizens through meaningful education and idea exchange".
Bill also serves as an Executive-in-Residence at Kent State University where he teaches the capstone class entitled Strategy Implementation & Executive Policy and Planning to Executive MBA students.
