William Leroy Brady
William Leroy Brady was born October 26, 1918 at Marion SD to William and Ida (Cremer) Brady.
Bill was in the Army 45 months, serving 35 months overseas, including Casablanca, the French Morocco and Italy.
Bill was a clerk-typist with the 51st Station Hospital (MASH).

In 1946 Bill moved to Mitchell to work at the Daily Republic as a Linotype Operator.
married Ida Fischer on January 28, 1947 in Marion.

of Rapid City, SD, Dennis of Charleston WV, Richard (Jane) of Rapid City, SD, Donald of Brookings, SD; two daughters: Ann (Dwight) Scott and Mary (Ron) Schaefer, both of Mitchell; his 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren: Christopher Schaefer (wife Jamie, children Maggie and Christian); Dr. Kathryn Fox; Karen Brown (son Blake); Joseph Brady; Kristin Brady (fiance Daren Nattress, sons Trinity and Knox); Samantha Schaefer (children William and Lydia); Joseph Fox (wife Amity, son Noah and baby daughter due in August); Emily Brady Church (husband Tim); Kimberly Schaefer (daughter Andrea); Kate Filut (husband Brett); Andrew Scott; Jonathon Schaefer; Christina Scott.
