Prior to joining A&M in June 2003, Mr. Abington was a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led the firm's Financial Advisory practice in the energy industry.
Mr. Abington is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and an honors graduate of Texas State University.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston and American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law.
