Bill Abington is a Managing Director and a member of the Executive Committee of Alvarez & Marsal Global Forensic and Dispute Services, with more than 25 years of experience in providing dispute analysis, financial investigations and audit services.

Mr. Abington has led projects involving accounting reconstruction, lost profit analysis, fraud investigations, valuation analysis, financial compliance with contract, merger and acquisition analysis and claims preparation and review.

Prior to joining A&M in June 2003, Mr. Abington was a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led the firm's financial advisory practice in the energy industry.
Mr. Abington earned a degree, with honors, from Texas State University.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston and American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law.
