On April 4, 2014, Will Lourcey was honored with the silver medallion as Texas' Middle Level Honoree for The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program, the United States' largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service. Presenting Will with the award was Volunteer Center CEO, Tammy Richards, and Prudential representative, Ricardo Roberto.

Will also received $1,000 and an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. for national recognition events in May.
Even though Will is a just a 5th grader, he is already the founder and CEO of FROGS (Friends Reaching Our Goals), an organization that raises money and awareness to fight hunger.

William Lourcey, 11, of Fort Worth, Texas, was named one of America's top 10 youth volunteers of 2014 by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards during the program's 19th annual national award ceremony on May 4 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Selected from a field of more than 30,000 youth volunteers from across the country, Will has earned the title of National Honoree, along with a personal award of $5,000, an engraved gold medallion, a crystal trophy for his nominating organization - the Volunteer Center of North Texas, and a $5,000 grant from The Prudential Foundation for a nonprofit charitable organization of his choice.
