Come the beginning of 1997, the Gospel Harmony Boys decided to become a quartet once again, with Will Adkins joining the group as the bass singer.
Adkins quickly became known as one of gospel music's lowest bass singers, with remarkable extension in his lower range. Adkins was joined by Tingler on baritone, Chapman on lead, and Williams continuing as tenor. ca. 1999 (L-R): Rusty Phillips, Will Adkins, Denis Chapman, and Greg Tingler
