Dr. Wesley Ball joined the WestConn faculty in Fall 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Shenandoah University-Conservatory, a Masters in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, along with a Masters and Doctorate in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University. He has taught public school music in Virginia and Ohio, and served as music specialist for the Purdue University Child Development Center. As Region Representative, he served on the National Board of Trustees of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, 1998-2001. Orff training includes Level III at the University of Cincinnati-Conservatory. Dr. Ball presented at the 1992 and 2000 National Orff Conferences, with subsequent workshop presentations in Washington, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Texas, Illinois, New York, West Virginia, and Michigan. I have attended Dr. Ball's workshops at the National Conferences and he also came to St. Louis to present for our local Orff Chapter. His activities are very useful and his props are very creative. I have attended a workshop with Dr. Ball and found that not only were the lessons presented excellent, but the concepts and ideas were also inspiring. Very creative!
