Rostenbach to be appointed interim auditorApril 15, 2008; 2:33 p.m.Comment on this story | Print this storyPress release submitted by Scott County Jim Hancock, Chairman of the Scott County Board of Supervisors announced today that the Board of Supervisors plans to appoint Wes Rostenbach as County Auditor to fill the current vacancy due to the untimely death of long time County Auditor Karen Fitzsimmons. Wes Rostenbach is currently the Accounting and Tax Manager in the County Auditor's Office and following the election of a new County Auditor this fall he will return to his Accounting and Tax Manager position.Mr. Rostenbach has an MBA from the University of Iowa and has been with the County for 17 years including six years as the first Office Manager for the County Attorney's Office.Mr. Rostenbach and his wife, Christine, have three daughters.
