Wendy Mercik was born and raised in Brockton, MA. At the young age of six, she became interested in horseback riding and started taking lessons.
At age 10, she
started competing in many horse shows on the east coast, many of which she
eventually ended up qualifying for the regionals seven years later.
From there, she
was classified as one of the Top 100 Junior riders in the U.S. and was invited to compete at the International Horse Show at Madison Square Garden in New York and the National Horse Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Soon afterwards, Wendy's interest in exercise started to replace her
interest in horseback riding.
started learning about working out and became a regular at it.

happened to meet a successful local bodybuilder who educated her
further and helped Wendy
compete in her
first bodybuilding contest.
competed in others, including the NPC Mass States where she
placed third in her
Wendy received an associate's degree in Legal Studies.
She worked as a legal secretary in Boston for ten years.
Looking for more stability in her working career, Wendy has decided to return to school and is currently attending Bridgewater State College.
She has chosen to pursue a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Management.
Wendy has been a Fitness Instructor for the East Bridgewater Family YMCA since October of 2009.
