The 2014 winners of the Volunteer of the Year were Cathy Smith with Grayson Athletic Association; Wayne Gilreath with Mill Creek Athletic Association; Brian Mearkle with Mountain View Athletic Association; and Debra Meadows with Bryson Park Youth Athletic Association.
Much like Cathy Smith, Wayne Gilreath of the Mill Creek Athletic Association (MCAA) continues to provide his time and resources even though his children are no longer involved within their programs. Wayne places a strong emphasis on MCAA's recreational programs, as he feels those programs help develop the organization as a whole and provides a sense of community to those apart of it.
