Southern California, August 24, 2001 -- Appreciation of vendor support was the focus of Crest Communications - Communications Team #4252 as they awarded several radio retail outlets with Certificates of Appreciation.
"Each of our members is dedicated to providing public service through 2-way radio communications," said Wayne Barringer, President of Crest Communications, and more commonly referred to by team members simply as Crest Communications Unit 94.

today initiated a program to recognize teams and council who offer Traffic Watch Programs in their local areas.Information submitted will published on the World Wide Web. "Monitoring is a basic tenant of REACT membership," said Wayne Barringer, REACT member and President of Crest Communications - REACT Team 4252 in local Corona, California.
"Maybe local GMRS licensees will get involved because they will be on the 'receiving end' of the program's benefits," said Barringer
News Release: 2006 PIO Assistance Program
Anaheim, CA., December 07, 2005 -- 2006 promises an increased awareness of REACT team and council news and activities thanks to a new program being developed by R-E-A-C-T.org
. "The PIO Assistance Program will offer a standardized format for team and council new releases and provide a process for converting documents into the commonly-used PDF file for publication on REACT web sites," said Wayne Barringer, REACT member and advisor on Public Information Officer issues.
"The format we are developing will provide an option to those REACT
teams and councils who are unable to obtain this type of information from other resources.
In addition to providing a standardization option among REACT teams and councils, the program will feature a quarterly newsletter and publication ideas for maximizing organizational exposure on both the web and in the print media.
