COQUITLAM, June 19, 2007 - The City of Coquitlam's City Manager, Warren Jones, has announced his resignation and will join the Cowichan Valley Regional District as the new Chief Administration Officer for the Cowichan Valley Regional District starting September 4, 2007.
"This is truly one of those situations where our loss is their gain, and we're going to sincerely miss Warren as his leadership, vision and ability to build a solid and experienced team have helped establish the wonderful organization we enjoy today," says Mayor Maxine Wilson.

Jones, who has worked for the City of Coquitlam since 1992, has been City Manager for 4.5 years.
