After graduating from high school, Warren went to Bible College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and graduated in 1963.
was ordained into the ministry in 1965 and pastored in Harvey, Illinois, until relocating to Columbus, Ohio in 1977.
In 1985, he
founded and pastored a non-denominational congregation in Westerville and New Albany
Warren, and his wife Louise, joined Pastor Joel and the staff of New Albany Church in 2010.

, 74, went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2016 in Westerville Ohio.
Warren was born in Chicago, Illinois, May 10, 1942 to the late William and Arletta Hilderbrand.
He graduated from the Apostolic Bible Institute in 1963 and began his ministry career as Pastor of Harvey United Pentecostal Church in Harvey, Illinois.
In 1977, he moved to Columbus, Ohio where he continued his ministry for 39 years at Calvary Apostolic Church, Christian Life Tabernacle, Quest Community Church and Five14 Church in New Albany, Ohio.
He also worked at Worthington Industries for 16 years.
