was born July 11, 1924, in Winfield, to Stella (Robertson) and Warren H. Capron
.He graduated from Winfield High School in 1942. During World War II, he joined the U.S. Army and served in the Far East Air Service Command, stationed in Biak, New Guinea.
After being discharged, he
returned home and married Dorothy Pinks in 1947. For several years, Capron was employed by the Winfield Police Department.He later worked at Jarvis Auto Supply in Winfield until his retirement. Capron was a member of the American Legion, a former member of the Wellington Elks Lodge and president of the Winfield Saddle Club for several years.He
also served several years on the Oxford Planning Commission
