Voucher distribution at Sherrick Road Church of God will start at 9 a.m. and continue until all vouchers have been given out, said Walter S. Moss, president of the Interdenominational Ministers' Association of Stark County and Vicinity.
The city is partnering with the Interdenominational Ministers' Association
The city is providing $12,500 for the program in Community Development Block Grant Program funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Money also will be contributed through the ministers' association, said Moss, pastor of Canton Foursquare Church.
The association is coordinating the collection of money through offering contributions from about 15 churches, he
said combining the two funding sources leaves him hopeful the program will be able to distribute about 800 vouchers.
