Hollien is a restoration contractor and millwright who restores historic water-powered mills. He serves for a number of organizations associated with wind and water mills, as well as being the President of the Millstone Research Center. Dessert and beverages will be provided.

WALTER HOLLIEN
PRESERVATION ARCHITECT Walter Hollien is a preservation architect who has a special interest in historic mills as well as other aspects of industrial archaeology. He is active in a number of organizations that focus on researching such topics as millstones and windmills. Mr. Hollien works as both a historic structures consultant and a restoration contractor, so is able to take a project from its initial stages through the actual conservation work. He is currently working on a number of projects in the northeastern U.S. ranging from the Pan Am Building/Grand Central Station Renovation in New York City to the Commandant's House in West Point, New York.
