Walter Ferris, a Wilmington police sergeant, had previously visited the museum with students of the police academy.
"You need to come several times to grasp this story," he says. Ferris, who has a master's degree in theology and teaches religious studies at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia, says walking through the exhibits is unnerving. "What's scary is you can almost see yourself being dragged into what the Nazis did," he says.
