Pastor Wade Seaver is Assistant Pastor for Missionary Service. He is a son of Grace Lutheran Church, having grown up in this congregation attending the Grace Lutheran School. Prior to beginning studies for the Holy Ministry, Pastor Seaver received an Associate Degree in Arts from Delta College in 1991 and worked as a computer consultant at the Dow Chemical Company in Midland. After returning from a year long work/study exchange program in Cologne and Frankfurt, Germany (1988-89) he matriculated to Concordia Lutheran College in Austin, Tex., and was graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Religious Studies (1995). That fall he entered Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. As part of his training he served as a vicar at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, Missouri. In May of 1999 he earned the Master of Divinity degree, and on August 15, 1999, was dominically ordered to serve in the Preaching Office at St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richland Center, Wisconsin where he spent five fruitful years. In the summer of 2004 he attended the Chaplain Officer Basic Course at the Fort Jackson U.S. Army post in Columbia, South Carolina. In February '05 the Lord set him on a new path, this time on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Pastor Seaver relocated to Ansbach, Germany (Bavaria). While there he assisted the garrison chaplain in providing Lutheran Bible instruction and leading the Divine Service in the chapel of our European headquarters in Heidelberg. On November 27, 2005, he started a weekly English-speaking mission congregation in Ansbach for soldiers and other interested persons. Concurrently he began training with the pastor of our sister church body in Germany (SELK) to assist in the German services. In September 2005 he moved again to a tiny little town just ten miles down the road. Since 1994, Pastor Seaver has been married to Lynn (née Steinbach) of Houston, Texas. By the grace of God they have four children: Irene, twin sons David & William, and Margaret ("Maggie"). On July 9, 2006, Pastor Wade Seaver was called by Grace Lutheran to be Assistant Pastor for Missionary Service. German Addresses for Pastor Seaver:

With the LCMS and the SELK in altar and pulpit fellowship, the pastor has consented to let Pastor Seaver officiate on Sundays when he can't be in Ansbach.
