Wade began his career with NSM in 1995.
With a law degree from Concord Law School and a business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, Wade is a licensed Certified Player Agent by the National Hockey League Players' Association and has represented players under all areas of the NHL Collective Bargaining Agreement including the entry level system, first round NHL draft picks, college free agents, restricted and unrestricted NHL free agents, and through the NHL's salary arbitration process.
