Head of the RHA, Dr Vishwa Mahadeo, said three teams are in the field every day, treating persons for flood related illnesses, including skin rashes, acute respiratory infections and chronic diseases.
He said each team comprises a doctor and para-medical and medical personnel and patients in the four polders of Black Bush, Yakusari, Mibicuri, Johanna and Lesbeholden, have already been attended.
Other areas covered are Manchester, Lancaster, Whim, Chesney, Liverpool, Belvedere, Number 19, Seawell, Fyrish, Vryman,s Erven, Canefeild and Cumberland in Canje, Fort Ordnance, Angoy,s Avenue (Cow Dam) and Number One Village.
