Virgil Coffee grew up the son of a music minister in West Texas.After graduating from high school in Andrews, Texas, Virgil attended Texas Tech University, majoring in Secondary Education.

met and married Linda Langston.While attending college on a full-time basis, Virgil
worked multiple jobs, putting in more than 40 hours per week to support his

and two other partners started a wholesale sporting goods business which grew into three highly successful locations.After several years, Virgil

began marketing Motor Club memberships for a local motor club company.Within three months, Virgil
was moved to the position of Recruiter/Trainer for the Motor Club
.He remained with this company for over 17 years, during which time he was named president of the company.

saw the company's operations expand from 3 to 38 states.While president, he was one of the founders of the National Association of Travel Organizations, which introduced model legislation in state legislatures throughout the United States, seeking to set some standards of operation for the adolescent motor club industry.
During this time Virgil
