Violet Valdez, director of the Konrad Adenauer Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila, said the new course, which would be offered in June this year, which is the start of the school year. Valdez, who is also chair of Ateneo's Communications Department, said the MA Journalism program was the culmination of the school's various pilot tests in the field of online learning and advanced graduate degrees. Valdez said the student would write a Master's project as the end of the program nears.This feature holds true when you have journalists who want to further their knowledge in the field of journalism but are restrained by time and geography," Valdez said.
