Dr Vinit Sharma
Vinit Sharma Vinit graduated from R.N.T. Medical College, Udaipur. India in 1985 and gained his MD in Community Medicine/ Preventive & Social Medicine in 1988. He worked in Community Medicine/ Preventive & Social Medicine in Gujarat India, from 1989 to 1997 as professor and consultant in adolescent health. He then went on to work for the WHO and most recently he has been working for UNICEF, presently working as an Adviser (RH/ ARH) in CST in Amman, since December 2003. He was the recipient of the Swiss Association for Adolescent Health Award for outstanding research in the field of Adolescent Medicine, at the 6th International Conference on Adolescent Health, Vancouver (1995). He has done much research and been the recipient of other scholarships and awards. He was co-opted to Council 2 years ago and now has been nominated for another 4 years.
