On November 4, 1999, after one long year of prayer, fasting, and seeking the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction, Rev. Vincent C. Davis
, a then 30 year-old ordained Baptist Minister conclusively submitted to the call of God to begin a non-denominational Christian ministry.
On April 9, 2000, a dinner was held at the Morrison Village Apartment Complex Community Room in which Rev. Vincent C. Davis Sr.
publically announced his
God-inspired vision for the weekly Bible Fellowship to be officially organized as a "Church" and to operationally serve the Warren community as a non-denominational, Bible-believing fellowship of Christians.
It was on this day that our fellowship offically beheld the name, "New Creation Bible Fellowship
April 23, 2000, (Easter Sunday) marked the day that New Creation Bible Fellowship held it first official Worship Service in the Warren Y.W.C.A Community Room with Rev. Vincent C. Davis serving as Pastor, Minister Anthony Davis as associate minister, along with 7 other Charter Members.
On November 17, 2002 Rev. Anthony L. Davis was ordained into the Gospel Ministry by Rev. Vincent C. Davis Sr., and appointed to serve as Assistant Pastor of New Creation Bible Fellowship.
Pastor Vincent C. Davis then explained the symbolic significance of the emblem in this manner: The Dove signifies God's Miracle of New Life; the Globe of the earth signifies our Mission to Minister to the world; The Holy Bible signifies God's Word as it shall eternally serve as our Message; the unified hands of many colors signifies the many colors of Mankind that the Universal Church is made up of; and finally, the red cross signifies the blood-stained cross of Jesus Christ that served as the Methodof sacrafice Christ freely chose to endure for the sake of enabling our salvation.
As our ministry continued to grow and the need for our very own building became more apparent, it was then that the Lord lead Pastor Vincent Davis to organize a building fund and pledge drive.
On Sunday Morning, February 15, 2009, Pastor Vincent C. Davis Sr. was presented with a hand-painted portrait on the behalf the entire New Creation Bible Fellowship congregation, in honor of his love, loyalty, and service to the our congregation.
