Victor D. Merullo is a partner in Merullo, Reister & Swinford Co., L.P.A.He is an experienced trial attorney with a nationally-recognized expertise in arboriculture and neighbor law, and extensive experience in family law as well as state and federal criminal law.His clients include arborists, public utilities, landowners and recreational users and municipal governments.
He has served as counsel on hundreds of federal and state criminal matters, and has served as a federal trustee on a number of complex commercial real estate bankruptcies.Mr. Merullo served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio, with emphasis on drafting legislation in agriculture and horticulture areas, as well as on Ohio Department of Agriculture regulations.He assisted in the drafting of Ohio's first comprehensive pesticide statute.
Author of The Law of Trees and co-author of Arboriculture and the Law, Mr. Merullo lectures extensively throughout the United States on arboriculture law.
