Veronica (Ronnie) Oleszkiewicz originally earned her degree in Special Education from Illinois State University with a concentration in Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
worked for several years at a sheltered workshop for Trainable Mentally Handicapped (TMH) students where she
taught the teenaged multi-handicapped/deaf students.
also has experience at the early childhood level.
While raising three children of her own, she worked at the American Academy of Pediatrics in Elk Grove Village.
This organization offers continuing education to its membership via online learning, which prompted Mrs. Oleszkiewicz to earn a Master of Distance Education from the University of Maryland University College.
She was the Special Education Case Manager at L.E.A.R.N. Charter School here in the city before coming to Perspectives.
loves to travel and is always interested in the variety of languages and cultures the world has to offer.
