The 6-foot junior had struggled to catch and shoot the ball normally in recent days after he jammed a finger on his non-shooting hand in last week's quarterfinals.
"I don't think everyone in Rochester thought we could do it," Relph said.
"Then the rankings came out and they were like 'They don't deserve that.' I think we've proved that we do.
"Hopefully we can get a win now that we're in the state final."
Henninger and McQuaid scrimmaged each other in the preseason.
