Troy Roth named as new Director of Food and Beverage
Congratulations to Troy Roth as he was named the new Director of Food & Beverage!
Roth joins the team at the San Diego Bayfront most recently from the Hilton Sante Fe Golf Resort & Spa at Buffalo Thunder New Mexico, where he was the Director of Food and Beverage.
A native of New Orleans, Troy interest in the food and beverage industry started at a young age while growing up in a family run business of two local New Orleans restaurants.
He started his professional career by attending the University of New Orleans and then jumped into his Hilton career in 1996 as Beverage Manager at the New Orleans Riverside, a 1,600-room group hotel adjacent to the New Orleans Convention Center.
In 2003 he was a member of the pre-opening team for the Hilton Americas Houston, a 1200-room group hotel connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center.

In August 2006, Troy was promoted to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at the Hilton Chicago, the 1400-room Michigan Avenue landmark.
Finally, in February 2008, Troy was named the Director of Food and Beverage of the Hilton Santa Fe Golf Resort & Spa at Buffalo Thunder where he successfully opened and managed all food and beverage operations including multiple outlets, banquet operations, and gaming activities.
