is saddened by the recent loss of one of our passionate and dedicated members, Trevor Wakely
Trevor worked at the Bureau of Meteorology for 23 years.
was someone with a lot of passion and enthusiasm for life in general.
role as an active union member, Trevor
made sure that important information was passed on to the masses either via the intranet, the Bureau's
yammer group or the many posters that he
put up in tea-rooms around the office.
was lots of fun, had a wonderful cheeky side and was a key part of the Bureau family.
volunteered for many roles in the workplace and really personified that giving spirit by always putting up his
hand to be involved in the work community.
will be very sorely missed among his
friends and colleagues in the Bureau
A shining light has been extinguished with his
Agree with Mark - Trevor
was loving his new role, especially giving me a giant ribbing about my blog post and the fact my mum was one of the first to offer a nice comment.
It wouldnt be a true tribute to Trevor
if I didnt include lots of Wakely-like CAPS and !!!!.
Hence... I'm sure wherever he
is now, he'll be GIVING 'EM HEAPS!!!! (In a nice way...)
had become an easy-going, cheeky bloke with a sense of fun in recent years and seemed to be really enjoying his
new role as part of the Facebook and IT team.
loss is hard to fathom and to accept.
Rest in peace.
, I will really miss you stirring the pot at the Bureau
and keeping everyone honest and fair in their dealings with each other.
My sincere condolences to everyone who had the pleasure of working with Trevor
and, of course, to his
family and friends.
