Stone's appointment became effective April 1, according to a joint announcement by Sandra Hodges, Rusk County judge, the Rusk County commissioners court, and Tony H. Douglas, Extension district extension administrator .
In Rusk County, Stone will work with volunteers, Extension committees, organizations, associations, and other groups in order to plan, implement and evaluate Extension educational programs and 4-H and youth development activities, Douglas said.
