family living and working as tenant farmers and moving from farm to farm almost yearly.
The family was broken in the early 1960's and Tony

An ever deepening poverty followed.
pre-teen and teenage years were characterized by rebellion, aimlessness and hopelessness.
At age 19, after descending to the depths of despair and hopelessness, he
came to the end of a long search for God and the peace, purpose and direction that had heretofore eluded him.
became a follower of Jesus Christ and his
life was forever changed.
immediately devoted himself to the study of the sacred scriptures that had brought him knowledge of Jesus of Nazareth.
Within months, he
determined that the God who had changed his
life had called him to devote himself to sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with the world.
Realizing he needed training to be the most effective in his life work, he moved to Dallas, Texas and began his formal studies at the Criswell Bible Institute (now Criswell College).
For more than three decades Tony
has been traveling, studying and seeking to instill in others the same love God has given him for the people and land of Israel.
Over the past 35 years, God has prepared him uniquely among his
peers to do the work outlined in True Life Concepts Ministry
and as a Pastor.
Tony earned the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Leadership at Tennessee Temple University where he also serves as the Director of Church and SBC Relations and Associate Professor of Pastoral Leadership.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at the Criswell College, Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University and was awarded the Doctor of Divinity Degree from Southern California Seminary.
has an additional two years graduate study at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary
and has extensive on-site research in Israel, Jordan and the Mediterranean countries of the Bible.
Karen is "Mimi" and Tony
is "Poppy" to the entire family now.
Karen travels with Tony
on many occasions as he
ministers, serves and teaches pastors.
