teaches the Pre-K 2 class.She was first employed by the Preschool from 1981 to 1985, rehired briefly in 1988, and joined us again in 2002.She has a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and a teaching credential from UCI.She
has worked with special needs children and as a tutor in addition to her
experience with young children.Her
two daughters,Katherine, a graduate of Corona del Mar High School
, and Sarah, a senior at Corona del Mar High School,were both students at St. Mark Community Preschool
Tarra Buffa teaches the Pre-K 1 class.She began her work with young children last year when she joined our staff,it was immediately obvious that this was the field for her!She has an A.A. degree from Santa Ana College, and has continued her education with early childhood education classes at Santiago Canyon College.
Elsa Coudé du Foresto completed her
high school and undergraduate college course work in France.Following her move to the United States, she enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Orange Coast College.She
has worked in private preschools and in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District
as an assistant teacher.
