went on to the ever so popular Tae Kwon Do and then High School wrestling.
As a high school senior, Tommy decided to join the the United States Marine Corps where, assigned to the 2nd Marine Division, Tommy served 17 months in Kuwait and on the borders of Iraq in full combat during Operation Desert Storm.

went on a crusade to find the end all of all martial arts systems.
This led him to various combative styles in which he
started to get more of a perspective on combatives and how it can be used by everyone, including military and law enforcement personnel.
Traveling further into the martial arts and self defense community Tommy
found something very close to what he
was looking for: (Wing Tsjun Kung Fu).
Here was a system that had the best footwork, open hand, close combat he
had ever seen.
It had sensitivity training, ground combat, street defenses, sparring, and weapons training so effective, it humbled Tommy
Drawing upon this style, and a hybrid of 15 other self-defense systems techniques, movements, and sequences in which Tommy
has experienced or trained, he
later went on to create his
own fighting system now known as "V-Force".
